1. Introduction

Welcome to CryptixVault. This application is developed and managed by an independent developer operating under the FigmentLabs brand.

                Your privacy is our absolute priority. CryptixVault is designed according to the "Offline-First" and "Zero-Knowledge" principles. This means we do not collect, transmit, or have access to your passwords, images, or any other sensitive data you store in the application.
            

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and which third-party services we use to ensure the operation and support of the app.

2. Data we do NOT collect (Zero-Knowledge)

To ensure maximum security, we have adopted a rigorous architecture:

No Proprietary Cloud: We do not own servers that store your data.
Local Storage: All passwords, notes, and encrypted images remain exclusively on your device.
Encryption: Your data is protected by advanced encryption. Without your Master Password (which we do not know), no one can access your content.

Consequently, FigmentLabs cannot see, decrypt, or share your personal data, even under request from authorities, as it does not possess the access keys.

3. Data collected by Third Parties

Although the app works primarily offline, we use some trusted services provided by Google to improve app stability and support its development (in the free version).

3.1 Firebase Crashlytics (Google)

We use this service to identify and resolve application malfunctions (crashes).

What is collected: Anonymous error logs, stack traces, device model information, and operating system version.
Purpose: To improve app stability and fix critical bugs.

3.2 Firebase Analytics (Google)

We may collect aggregated and anonymous statistical data on app usage.

What is collected: Interaction events (e.g., "App opened", "Screen viewed"), session duration, country of origin (generic).
Purpose: To understand which features are most used to improve the user experience.

4. Device Permissions

The application requires access to certain device features only for functional purposes:

Storage: To manage encrypted files and local backups.
Biometrics: For local quick unlock (biometric data never leaves the device).
Internet: Only to send crash reports and anonymous usage statistics.

5. Data Security

Your data is encrypted locally. Remember that the security of your Master Password is your responsibility: we cannot restore it if you forget it, as it is never sent to our systems.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access and delete your data. Since everything is saved locally, you can exercise these rights by deleting records in the app or uninstalling the application itself.
